In this week's episode, we take a harder look at Christian Nationalism and examine the differences between the "look at me" lifestyle of a Christian Nationalist like Robert Burns compared to the humble life of Christians. Robert Burns is playing a character and we're here to call him out on it!

We know it's long but it's a damn fine conversation. Join us as we let the brains behind the Radical Roots podcast fill us in on what's happening in Monroe, and the country, through a different lens. List to Parron explain what it's like to have a government official send his klan of followers after you. We can never be certain why the mayor singled out Parron for his lynch mob dry run, but we have our suspicions. I'm just saying, for a group of people that insist Charlie Kirk wasn't racist, they sure did use the N-word a lot in their threats!Check out their website, https://www.radicalroots.us/, and follow them on all social platforms!

The mayor's campaign rally was white a hit...I'm sorry, quite a hit. We touch on that, what we think his next moves are, and why saying "both sides" makes you sound like you're uninformed on a variety of subjects.

All suggested (HILARIOUS!!!!) titles we wanted for this podcast were shot down by our attorney. If you want to know what we had thought about naming this episode you'll have to come and grab a beer with us. As the mayor meets with his clan(sp?) downtown this evening, we take a minute to reflect on what a shitty person the mayor is as he uses his platform to send a lynch mob after a local resident. Though there hasn't been word from the city council, we encourage you to email the council (Burns and Dotson are optional), the city manager, and the city lawyer. Demand they start the removal process of the hateful, lying, bigot. Check out the Radical Roots podcast and Facebook page to see the hell the mayor is bringing to Union County.

As our mayor lauds his airport while taking donations from folks in the aviation industry, it's hard to imagine that there's nothing he won't sell us out for.
Join us as we talk about the mayor having to pay to have people listen to him speak and the real reasons that companies change logos (spoiler alert: it's not “woke” or whatever the mayor thinks). Recorded right here in Monroe, a place a lot of the mayor's political donors have never been, it's our latest episode of Drawing Bigger Circles. Steven attempts the train metaphor again, and Kevin runs out of Coke. It's a hell of a ride, folks...

Dottie was quite forgiving and came back to see us at Drawing Bigger Circles. Dottie chats with us about the makeup of the city government and her experiences during her 12 year tenure as a councilwoman. We got working sound. We got Dottie. We got Stevens' majestic beard (only viewable on the YouTube broadcast).

Mayor Coin Flip continues to make a name for himself in a negative way. Will the "all press is good press" mantra ring true? Will people remember the name but not the embarrassment he inflicts upon our city? Kevin and Steven take aim at the silliness that is Monroe politics once again.
